WEIGHTLESS
Weightless is a documentary short film about a group of plus-size women who share a love for scuba diving. Liz Nickels, a size-26 woman who lives in Oakland, CA, is a psychologist, scuba diver and certified scuba instructor. She created Big Adventures to allow plus-size women a comfortable space to learn scuba diving and have fun with other large women.
Funded in part by the Department of Cultural Affairs for the City of New York,
administered by the Brooklyn Arts Council. Women Make Movies is the film's fiscal sponsor.
