About Faith Pennick

Chicago native Faith Pennick’s filmography includes the documentaries Silent Choices and Weightless, and the narrative short films Running on Eggshells and Haunt. D’Angelo’s 'Voodoo'--Pennick's nonfiction book published by Bloomsbury’s “33 1/3 Music” imprint--was named by Variety magazine as one of the best music books of 2020. Pennick earned her B.A. at the University of Michigan, and an M.A. at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Presently, Pennick works in the advertising industry.
